Client care

Care, briefly

Most clothes are not worn out — they are washed out. Four rules cover almost everything: wash cold, use less detergent, dry flat, and iron on the reverse.

Machine wash cold No bleach Line dry in shade Cool iron, reverse
Hand wash cold or use a wool cycle with a pH-neutral detergent. Never wring — press the water out in a towel and dry flat, away from direct heat. Fold to store; hanging stretches the shoulder.
Hand wash cold with a mild detergent, or dry clean. Do not soak. Rinse thoroughly, roll in a towel, then hang in the shade. Iron on the reverse at the lowest setting while slightly damp.
Place in a fine-mesh laundry bag and use a cold, gentle cycle. Do not tumble dry. Any snag should be pressed flat with a fingertip rather than cut.
Turn inside out, wash alone on a cold cycle, and dry flat. Store folded with tissue between layers so the sequins do not catch on each other.
Wash inside out, cold, with like colours. Do not tumble dry. Wear it three or four times between washes — denim prefers air to water.
Brush rather than wash. Air on a broad hanger for a day between wears. Dry clean only when genuinely needed, and tell the cleaner which areas need attention.
Repairs, free for two years. A lost button, a split seam, a dropped hem — send it to the studio and we will fix it. Email client care with a photo and your order number.
